Doodle Arcade is a drawing game for children. A child draws on real paper, takes a photo, and the drawing becomes the hero of an arcade game. We built it to collect as little as possible, and we never sell data.
There is no sign-up and no login, and the app never asks for a name or an email address. The first time the app opens it makes a random ID and keeps it on the device. That ID is not linked to your child or to you.
When your child scans a drawing, the app crops the photo to the sheet of paper on the device, so hands, faces and rooms are not sent. The cropped photo is sent to our server, turned into a game character in memory, and thrown away straight after. We never store photos and we never log them. The finished character is saved only on your device.
To make the character extra shiny, the finished character picture (never the photo) is sent to our image partner, Higgsfield, which returns a polished version. It is uploaded for temporary processing only. A grown-up can turn this off in the Grown-ups area ("Extra shine").
If you ask for a share video, the character picture is kept on our server for up to 24 hours so the video can be made and downloaded, then it is deleted.
There are no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking across apps or websites.
